አማርኛ A system bet places every possible accumulator of a given size across your selections: a Trixie on three picks is three doubles plus a treble (4 bets), a Yankee on four picks is six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold (11 bets). One losing leg no longer kills everything — the combinations without it still count.
The cost is stake fragmentation: each combination carries its own stake, so a '£1 Yankee' costs £11. Systems convert the accumulator's all-or-nothing profile into a smoother one at the price of needing more legs right just to break even.
£1 Trixie (£3... £4 total: 3 doubles + 1 treble) on picks at 2.0 / 2.0 / 2.0. All three land: returns £4×... doubles pay 3×£4=£12? — each double pays £1×4=£4, the treble £8, total £20 from £4. Two land: one double survives, £4 back from £4 staked. The system's break-even needs two of three, not one.
