When a Goliath makes sense — honestly
Every bet inside a Goliath carries the bookmaker's margin, and combining selections multiplies that margin just as it multiplies the odds. A system bet never improves your expected value over the same stakes placed as singles — what it changes is the shape of the outcomes: nothing returns until two selections land, in exchange for cheaper cover than the version with singles.
