18+ · Combined bets multiply the risk as well as the odds — the implied chance above is what the market thinks of your acca. Stake responsibly.
The honest maths of accumulators
Accumulators are popular because small stakes can return big numbers, but the same multiplication that grows the odds also multiplies the bookmaker's margin and shrinks your chance of collecting. If each leg carries a typical 5% margin, a four-leg acca quietly charges you around 19% — far more than any single bet. That doesn't make accas a mistake; it makes leg selection matter more. Fewer, stronger legs at fair prices beat long lottery tickets over time. Our daily acca is built confidence-first from the screener's most probable picks for exactly that reason.
Acca FAQ
Multiply the decimal odds of every leg together. Three legs at 1.50, 2.00 and 1.80 give 1.50 × 2.00 × 1.80 = 5.40 combined odds — a €10 stake returns €54.00 if every leg wins.
Every leg must win. Three legs with a 60% chance each land only 0.6 × 0.6 × 0.6 = 21.6% of the time. The bookmaker margin also compounds across legs, which is why accas are priced so generously.
Most bookmakers remove the void leg and recalculate the acca at the remaining combined odds, rather than settling the whole bet as lost. Check the operator’s rules — treatment can differ.
