Moneyline explained

US odds format: negative numbers show what you stake to win 100, positive what 100 wins — and the US name for the win market.

A moneyline price of -150 means stake 150 to win 100 (decimal 1.67); +240 means 100 wins 240 (decimal 3.40). Negative marks favourites, positive marks underdogs. 'Moneyline' also names the market itself — betting the winner with no spread, which in football includes the draw as its own line.

Conversion is mechanical: decimal = 1 + 100/|ML| for negatives, 1 + ML/100 for positives. Doing it in your head — or letting a converter do it — is step one to comparing US-quoted prices against anything else.

Worked example

-125 = 1.80 decimal = 55.6% implied. +210 = 3.10 = 32.3%. A three-way football moneyline of -125 / +260 / +330 implies 55.6 + 27.8 + 23.3 = 106.7% — a 6.7% vig on the trio.
